The authors report the application of alternative medicine for the treatment of Dysmenorrhea (DYS), its benefits and the use of new acknowledgement.
The pain, main symptom of the DYS, is a very completive and individual experience, often difficult to evaluate, asses and manage. Even though it’s widely experimented with clear evidences on international scientific trials that the pain can be much relieved by the application of the endogenic termic therapy (ETT) that is a type of capacitive microwave diathermy. It is applied on specific areas of the women body according to principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).
